DEPARTMENT: Information Systems REPORTS TO: Information System Director General Definition of Job Function: – Provide technical assistance for local office network and small-sized windows serverfrarm network issues. – Possesses knowledge and experience of Cisco products of switching, routing, wireless LAN and security. – Possesses basic experience and knowledge to solve/analyze network application performance, TCP/IP protocol stacks, routing/switching, Ethernet, DNS/DHCP, Firewall, VPN and wireless LAN. – Assists with the administration of 500+ users of Citrix Metaframe in a remote Call Center environment. In addition to hardware/software support, is familiar with client/server applications jointly with other systems personnel. – Helps with the installation and configuration of all Cisco network equipment including cabling, switches, and routers. – Works with various network tools (Wireshark/Sniffer, etc) to manage and troubleshoot networking problems. Examples of Duties and Tasks Performed: – Adding and supporting network users for Windows XP, 10. – Installing and configuring Office network switch & wireless access points, etc. – Installing and supporting Cisco network devices (i.e. Cisco ISR routers and L2/L3 switches) – Support for communication lines between remote sites (Domestic and International) Qualifications: – 4+ years’ experience of network support. – College degree in Computer Science, MIS, or relevant support experience in a corporate environment. – Cisco networking certification is required. – Other IT related certifications desirable. *If interested, please send a copy of your resume to dlee@hrcap.com |
