런던-미들섹스 지역은 수요일에 140건의 새로운 COVID-19 사례를 기록했는데 이는 전날보다 두배나 많은 수치라고 지역 보건 당국이 밝혔다.

보건당국은 또한 면허가 있는 보육원(child-care)에서 일하는 18세 이상의 종사자는 오늘 목요일부터 백신을 접종받을 수 있다고 발표했다.

지역의 7일 이동평균은 직전 108명에서 99명으로 하락했다.

몇 주 동안의 추세대로 감염자의 연령대는 낮아지고 있으며 40세 미만이 64%, 30세 미만이 42%를 차지하고 있다.

London Health Sciences Center에서 치료를 받고있는 코로나 환자는 수요일 기준으로 93명미여 이 중 40명은 중환자실에 있다.

온타리오에서는 목요일 3,871건의 새로운 COVID-19 사례와 24명의 추가 사망자가 보고되었다.
